This product is formally known as “John Taylor’s Original Taylor Pork Roll,” but many of us in Jersey call it simply, “Taylor Ham.” Pork Roll has been manufactured since 1856. It is pre-cooked, hickory smoked, cured and can be safely shipped unfrozen all year long in proper packaging.

    I love Taylor’s Ham, especially the 3 pound rolls, because they are delicious and juicy. Growing up in Maryland, it was part of our breakfast every Sunday. Now that I live in Michigan, I order it every few months, because it isn’t sold in our grocery stores. Great product!!

    Buy it for each of my families (4) every year. It is gone within a couple of days. I could buy it every week for them and it would still be gone in just a matter of days. We all live in Florida and could get it in the supermarkets here but the quality we get of buying it direct from NJ is not there.

    Somerville transplant living in Pittsburgh. I found Pork Roll at a Wegman’s in Erie, PA and usually stock up when I’m there. Lately there hasn’t been enough and I end up buying all of their stock and it doesn’t last me very long. It freezes pretty well, and while it isn’t as good as a PEC from the Hogie Hut in Bridgewater, I get the breakfast sandwich I miss, here in Pittsburgh. (The bread here isn’t anywhere close to what we get back home). I appreciate the quick turn time and the price per pound. I’ll be back.

    As a New Jersey transplant to California, I really missed the Taylor Pork Roll. I found it at a local butcher shop, but at triple the price on this web site. So, it’s become a tradition on my birthday and Father’s Day to order Taylor Pork Roll. Now, I find I have to divide it up and send some to my son and grandsons up in Riverside County because they love it so much. Well, moving the traditions forward, I guess. This web site has the best prices, selections and service. I will be coming back for sure! After all, Father’s Day is coming up!

    In these stressful times …I went right back to my home comfort food…Taylor Pork Roll ..and it was everything I node and wanted……very happy.

    Due to what’s going on with covid-19..I am sure that had a lot to due with delayed in USPS 2 day priority….actually taking 7 days + in actual delivery time. Fortunately the weather has been on the cool side and the pork roll was fine. But I would suggest being very careful with order delivery as the weather gets much warmer ..could cause problems if late delivery’s continue. Stay safe everyone (:

    Grew up in Orange County, NY with Taylor Ham as a regular part of my diet. Left for the Marines and never saw it again. Retired 23 years later in Georgia and my Aunt introduced me to this company. Wow, what an amazing group of people. Even with COVID-19 getting in the way of the supply chain, these guys and gals bend over backward for you to get you what you need. John Taylor’s is John Taylor’s no matter where you get it, but when you live 6 states away from Jersey, this company is the only one to deal with.
