Cheese Steaks, Soft Pretzels, the Sopranos, and lots more

Life isn’t just about Taylor Ham and Pork Roll! Looking through these links gives you a glimpse inside of the Garden State and the many gifts it has to offer. From the Skylands to the Jersey Shore, there is so much more to New Jersey than we’re given credit for.

There are plenty of other things Jerseyans have to be proud of.  Take a look at JerseyPride.com, the online home of LOGS (Lovers of the Garden State). Two Jersey guys started the site while they were away at college in Middlebury, VT. Visit to begin discovering what it means to be from the Garden State.

If you have a few minutes you may enjoy this lengthy email “Why We Love New Jersey,” submitted by a customer in 2006.

Were you born in Newark? Did you ever live, work, or shop there? Old Newark and Newark Talk are wonderful sites to browse around and relive your childhood, maybe reconnect with old friends, and just share your own memories of life in Newark.

If you’re on Facebook, after you take a moment to “like” us at Original Taylor’s Pork Roll and More, get ready to settle down and spend hours enjoying the old photos, memories and comments from the group at We Grew Up In Essex County NJ in the 50s and 60s.

New Jersey Shore –  “The Jersey Shore is filled with beautiful towns and villages that are family friendly and provide a safe and healthy place for youngsters to flourish.” This is a beautifully done, very informative web site made by people who cleary love the real Jersey Shore!

Weird NJ. I think New Jersey has its share of weirdness just like any other state, but I’ve been a fan of the two Marks before they hit the big time on TV. If you’ve never read a copy of this magazine, you’re missing out on the very weirdest the Garden State has to offer.

Enjoy the links!
