Shipping Policies
JerseyPorkRoll-NJ Pork Roll is a full-time wholesale and retail food company. We have customers all over the United States including Alaska and Hawaii. We ship pork roll, Sabrett Hot Dogs and condiments, and more.
The health and safety of our customers is our most important concern. Federal law and our liability insurance carrier do not allow us to ship any food products not sealed in a USDA inspected facility.
We ship via FedEx, UPS, of if you choose, the United States Postal Service.
We ship Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. USPostal orders are shipped on some Saturdays. We ship many orders within 24 hours of receiving them. Many orders, but not all, go out the same day you place your order. Please be prepared for your order to arrive in 1 – 3 business days.
If you live in a 1 – 2 day delivery area from NJ, we often use Fed Ex and you will have your package the next business day. (NY, CT, MA, RI, PA, MD, DC, VA, WV, ME, NH, and more) We do NOT charge extra handling fees regardless of which shipping you choose, even Express packages. Quite simply, if your order arrives in the office before our trucks depart, it will be shipped immediately if at all possible at our regular low shipping prices.
Our research with temperature control analysts and engineers in the packaging industry began in August 2004 and continues to this day. Our packaging may include high-quality FDA approved reusable gel packs, reusable “ice-brix,” and eco-friendly biodegradable, re-useable coolers. We no longer use EPS foam packaging as it is breakable and not rated as high as our current cooling pads. Packaging is provided as necessary for no extra charge. (Wholesale orders may be charged for crates and cargo containers)
Before purchasing Pork Roll at JerseyPorkRoll.com or any perishable food items anywhere, please read this information from the Federal Government’s guidelines for Consumers:
*Make sure the website is secure. You should see https:// at the top when you enter your credit card, not just http: A lock icon should appear somewhere in the window of your browser.
*Look for adequate contact details – phone, fax, email and street address (not just a PO Box number and cell phone). Please be aware that anyone can buy a domain name and begin selling food anywhere.
Our orders are shipped nationally all year, every week and some Saturdays throughout the year. Express orders are shipped Monday through Wednesday. Fed Ex Express does not operate on weekends so shipping on a Friday is not possible. We professionally package all orders to ensure cold, fresh delivery, no matter what your location or climate is. We do not require you spend extra money for shipping containers or Express delivery.
As experienced shippers working closely with the US Postal Service, Fed Ex, and UPS personnel, we guarantee at no time will your order sit in a warehouse. The USPS does not have warehouses or storage facilities. US Mail moves 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, there is no such thing as “warehousing over the weekend.” When we ship on Saturday your order is always in transit on Sunday and usually arrives early enough on Monday to be sorted and delivered to you the same day. (Yes, even in rural Montana.) We time our shipping so your order does not arrive at your local Post Office on a Sunday.
We have shipped thousands of packages to all 50 states since 2004. Regardless of climate, your order is guaranteed to arrive in excellent condition.
REFUNDS: We ask that you return the product in the original packaging before a refund is issued. Return postage is paid for you. Exceptions do apply:
We are responsible until the package is scanned as delivered; we are not responsible for packages you do not pick up at your post office on delivery day, or mail delivered to cluster boxes.
We are not responsible for packages sent to undeliverable addresses. All three major delivery services now use GPS locations from Google maps. Please make sure the address you direct us to ship to is a deliverable address. No refunds or replacements on packages marked “undeliverable,” or “unknown address.”
We are not responsible for packages sent to an address that you choose US Postal Service for that does NOT have Postal Service delivery. This applies mostly to rural areas but can apply in some cities.
