Life isn't just about Taylor Ham and Pork Roll! Looking
through these links gives you a glimpse inside of the Garden
State and the many gifts it has to offer. From the Skylands to
the Jersey Shore, there is so much more to New Jersey than
we're given credit for.
There are plenty of other things Jerseyans have to be proud
of. Take a look at JerseyPride.com,
the online home of LOGS (Lovers
of the Garden State). Two Jersey guys started the site while
they were away at college in Middlebury, VT. Visit to begin discovering what it means to
be from the Garden State.
Were you born in Newark? Did you ever live, work, or shop
there? Old Newark
and Newark Talk are
wonderful sites to browse around and relive your
childhood, maybe reconnect with old friends, and just share
your own memories of life in Newark.
New Jersey's connection to
Philadelphia continues at the Mummers On National TV
Site.

Several restaurants and cafes are supplied
with Taylor Pork Roll by NJPorkRoll.com:
Sheabeen's
Irish Pub in Aurora, Colorado serves Taylor Ham
sandwich's, and something owner Andy Schmidt calls a
"Jersey Burger." Of course it is hamburger with
Taylor Ham from the "Great State of New Jersey." The
pub was established 1989, making it the oldest active Irish
Pub in the Denver Metro Area. The Pub’s name derives from
the term "Sheebeening", the art of going from pub to
pub tipping a pint. Sounds like the good old days from the
Village Squire in Vailsburg to Cryan's in Newark.
Goldstar
Market in California now sells Taylor Ham! Tell Mac you read
about it at

I'm
all in favor of promoting local New
Jersey businesses when I
believe they offer superior products at reasonable prices.
Paul, the owner of Jersey
Shore Coffee Roasters.com is a great guy to
have a conversation with, and he sure knows his coffee.
Wally's Place, owned by
former Jersey Boy, Matt, sells pork roll and genuine NY/NJ
style bagels in beautiful South Hero, Vermont. Open
Monday through Friday 6am to 2pm, Saturday 7am to 2pm, and
Sunday 8am to 2pm, so stop in where you can get Jersey's
Unofficial State Breakfast.
Direct from New Jersey, SopranoSuesSightings.com
follows the filming of the Sopranos with news, locations,
tours, and more.
Speaking of weird, one of my favorite magazines is
Weird
NJ. I think New Jersey has its share of weirdness just
like any other state, but I've been a fan of the two Marks
before they hit the big time on TV. If you've never read a
copy of this magazine, you're missing out on the very weirdest
the Garden State has to offer.
